Young Love Ends In Suicide For Indian Teenagers

Every now and then you hear about a young couple who’s love for one another has been thwarted by outside forces. Unfortunately, many of these cases all too frequently end in suicide. In this case it appears that religious differences and family opposition seen to have been the stimulant that resulted in two teenage lovers taking poison to end their lives.
Rajesh Rathore and Allah Rakkhi from Lucknow, India, were meeting frequently and this was an open secret in the entire village. The two families had even confronted each other over the issue, but the two young lovers refused to heed the advice of their respective families.
Rajesh’s apparently stated that he would elope and marry Allah if her parents did not give in and agree to their marriage.
